Mercer Hotel Barcelona

The hotel is perfectly located right by the cathedral in the old section of the City, on top of Roman ruins. It's close to the bustling main street but quietly hidden behind an ancient wall. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the staff are incredibly helpful, providing great tips for what to see and places to eat.

The breakfast is not included in the room rate, which can be a bit pricey at EUR34 per person.

Fabulous blend of ancient Roman ruins and modern design, located in the Gothic area. Staff goes above and beyond, especially Marcos the concierge. Roof top pool and bar offer a relaxing oasis. Knowledgeable concierge plans every detail. Delicious tasting menu in the restaurant.

The hotel had a fine design and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the historical area and close to all the landmarks. The breakfast was tailored to our liking, and the service was perfect.

The rooms were a bit dark and some more lighting would have been nice. the pillows were a little too soft for my taste.

The service is exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with options like fresh fruit salad and hot food cooked to order. The hotel also offers a cocktail bar, tapas/wine bar, and a stunning rooftop terrace.

The hotel doesn't have a gym, which could be seen as a downside for guests looking for fitness facilities.

We were blown away by the elegant design and comfortable atmosphere of Mercer Hotel. The rooftop bar offered fine views and the tapas restaurant was a great culinary experience. The warm and caring guest services set this hotel apart. we highly recommend Mercer Hotel.

Welcoming boutique hotel with attentive staff. Great room, amazing food, and fantastic Spanish wines. Perfectly situated in a maze of beautiful narrow streets in the Gothic Quarter. We would definitely return! 🌟

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, tucked away in a secluded lane in the gothic region of the city. It was so close to everything we needed, just a short walk to the main street, but still quietly hidden behind an ancient wall. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful rooftop terrace and pool. The staff was friendly and were really good too make our trip very nice. From the moment we arrived, they were helpful and attentive, providing us with the best service we've ever experienced in a hotel.

This hotel offers exceptional service and luxurious amenities that made for a truly indulgent experience. the private facilities, including the exclusive rooftop terrace and in-room breakfast, were standout features that exceeded our expectations. the central location allowed for easy access to all of the city's top attractions.

While the overall quality of the room was excellent, we did find the lack of proper storage in the bathroom to be an inconvenience. the shower was also on the small side, which caused some discomfort.
